Superstitions

In the human race, people have come up with certain superstitions. A most common one is "don't walk under a ladder". It basically says don't walk under a ladder because it will bring bad luck. The reason it started is because a ladder represented the trinity of God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). Breaking this triangle would be evil. In early Christian times, performing such an act would label you as a witch, which is why it would extremely dangerous. If you are breaking the trinity, you would be a "follower of Satan", which of course does not bode well. Another theory for bad luck has to do with the the three points of the ladder. The top point connects with the building, the building intersects with the road forms one corner and the bottom of the ladder makes the third corner. Throughout history the number three has represented masculine or the animus. Do you think it brings bad luck? Well, you can always find out by trying.
